Ich cannot survive on a dry surface. If you let everything you're transferring completely dryout then the ich will not be transferred. If you cannot do this then, Ich 'whit spot' can be killed by starvation. It is best to leave the tank 'fish-less' for a min of two weeks, longer if you can. Heating the water will eliminate the ich faster. This parasite does not like heat. It takes much longer for ich to multiply in cool water. I hope this helps.

2011 Topps Heritage Cards?

I bought a lot of 13ea 2011 Chipper Jones Heritage cards recently on Ebay, upon receiving them, they all seem to have 2 parallel lines running vertically down each card that seem to be a flaw from the factory. Left entranced and appalled by the philosopher's apprentice? (Spoiler Alert)?

I just finished the Philosopher's Apprentice by James Morrow and at the beginning I loved his writing style. His elegant word use and amazing ability to evoke an image really had me enthralled, but I was upset by the ending. Something about solving the ultimate problem by tricking a man into with a clone of your mother who then kills you just bothered me. I realize his books aren't meant to be touchy-feely but that was just to heavy for everyday. I love the writing style though so does anyone know of a similar author, or know if his other books are less gruesome in their completion? I find that I may enjoy a book untill about the middle wherein the tone becomes just a bit too outlandish for me and I am dismayed (Stranger in a Strange Land- still haven't read past him deciding to become a deity). Any advice would be welcome, I'm tired of juvenille fiction but can't commit to a book so strong.

Boat engine playing up?

hi there , my boat engine is a lister air cooled and it always loses power in the first 20 minutes or so after start up, i have changed filters , checked all connections, it sounds like air in the system fuel starvation, but once it warms up its fine, why does it only lose revs on the way out to the fishing grounds but never on the way back, any ideas why it does this?? many thanks

it does help..for example,,you cant go straight to a high level gym as you need the badges from the other gyms so you can level your pokemon up to a certain level.. one of the badges lets you level your pokemon to 30, and one to 40, so doing them in the right order is always good.. some of the later ones you can probably do in a different order :D

I would say that its worth it....because the Kalahari is usually pretty packed on weekends. I went to the Wilderness resort about 6 weeks ago and it was difficult finding seating at the wave pool part of the waterpark...i think the cabanas were about $200 but i'm not sure about the ones in kalahari.

I would say it sounds like baby is not getting enough hind milk. That is the fatty milk that makes their poops look seedy and yellower. Try feeding baby twice on each side before switching. I actually only fed my son on one for two whole feedings.So the 1pm and the 4pm were on the left and the next two on the right . It worked very well and I didn't have huge ..LOL

Worried about my heart?

I was just wondering if congenital heart defects can be hereditary? My Grandad died of a congenital heart defect when he was 23 (Just before my dad was born) and my heart never feels right. I'll be perfectly honest with you- I don't see the need in offering bar drinks at all. If you are certain you want alcohol served, then yes, you absolutely can & should have a cash bar. I made the mistake of not doing a cash bar when I threw my cousins wedding shower & wound up with over $600 added to the final bill for a group of 31. For you, buying drinks for 60 people would eat your entire budget- even buying a drink package for 4 hours would cost at the very least $15 per person. I disagree wholeheartedly with the poster above who thinks it's in poor taste to have a cash bar & that your parents would be embarred. This is not a formal event, it's a 35 anniversary get together & your parents will be delighted with anything you do. It not a very good guitar....it reminds me of the one that Sears sells for $70.00...someone in my family bought it for their eight year old...and wow what a piece of junk...I don't know how that they get away with selling such stuff....the frets were all coming up and the tone was awful....it was more a toy then an instrument....I don't think beginners should spend 4 - or 5 hundred dollars on a guitar....but a nice acoustic for about $200.00 - $250.00 the Guitar Center has these when on sale put out by Yamaha....and believe me they don't sound bad for an inexpensive guitar, a couple of my students have bought them and are very happy.....I tell all my students to start out with something like this....this guitar isn't junk like a lot of those package deals where you get the guitar, amp, books, straps, picks, and books all for about $100.00 - $150.00 and the $100.00 guitars that I'm seeing on the Internet and TV today !!!!!!! I'm sure you know what one I'm talking about, when another person in my family bought one of those we had to take it to the music store to see if they could make it playable....and the owner told us that everyone who got one of those guitars brought it in to see what could be done with the action, the strings were so high up off of the fingerboard that he wasn't even to press the strings down without excrutiating pain....I couldn't either and I've been playing for over thirty five years. To get a half way decent sound you have to spend a little money...remember you get what you pay for...Go to the Guitar Center or any other reputable guitar store and spend a little time playing these guitars and see what you think....play them all as they all sound a little different !!! I hope I didn't bust your bubble but I've seen enough of these guitars to know what I'm talking about...and I'd hate to see you get something that is not worth spending the money on....save a little more, in the long run it will be well worth it, good luck to you !!!!!!!!

I want to break my year contract for my apartment.?

I moved into an apartment complex that sounded good at the time. We moved in to the first floor of a three storie building. Well after the first night we noticed that any time the two neighbors upstairs took a shower or something, that dirty water would come up from our tub, so we called maintenance....but all they did was snake the tub...which does nothing....we have been dealing with this living condition for a while now, and anytime it happens the maintenance people insist that it is our fault somehow. Not only this but they were working on the upstairs neighbors tub for a different reason, and they blew a pipe and flooded our apartment with more dirty water, i am fed up with dealing with disgusting unsanitary living conditions, but i dont want to be forced to pay the price for paying the consequence of breaking a contract. So far the apartment people havent been any help at all...we even stoped calling maintenance because we know their not gonna fix anything, and just make us uncomfortable in our home. My question is, is their any law that i can throw at these people so that i dont have to give away my money? or does anyone have a similar situation that can be helpful in any way? anything helps, i just deserve better then to live in someones dirty water...and i work too hard to give my money away.

Has anyone had this problem with their transmission?

Last year I bought my 67 Volvo. It has BW35, 3-spd auto transmission. its RWD.Car slips like a NIGHTMARE! Its so annoying. Few weeks ago i had the fluid changed.. no difference. Friday I took it to a transmission shop, they told me I had a worn bearing and my troubles would be over for 190. Someone on my other question said, nothing in the driveshaft would cause any slipping in the transmission, they're right. The transmission slips in 1st gear, then slips when it shifts to 2nd gear. I stopped in the place today and they told me the bearing only quieted my transmission, and it is still out of control. They said a gears are gone, i dont remember which ones, and the clutch pack or whatever is worn, I THINK THATS WHAT HE SAID. Right now im so stressed and so pissed because this car is killing me. I dont want to sell it, its a hobby car but I want to have it good for the summer. Please dont tell me my fluid is low or i have a leak because thats not it.

About a month ago I started getting really intense abdominal cramps & when they would start up id have to go to the bathroom to poop.. then usually after I was done pooping the pain stopped. About two weeks ago I started getting nauseous along with my cramps. Last wk I decided to go to the dr he said I had pinworms & gave me meds to treat myself my husband and my 2 yr old. He told me I should feel better by Friday of last wk. Well I went all wkend feeling bad.. so yesterday I went to the dr again & he gave me meds for anxiety & spastic colon. I also went to the er last wk and they did an abdominal ultrasound & bloodwork..all normal. I've also been horribly constipated for the last wk or so and the dr told me to get fiber one cereal for that. Any ideas what was going on??

1987 Chevy s10 transmission problems?

I posted earlier but I'm going to rephrase it!!! I bought the truck last week and the guy told me its hard to get into first and reverse, you just have to push the clutch all the way to floor. He said he had the clutch and pressure plate replaced and he showed me reciepts for it. He said they said it was the fork but they didnt end up changing that out. There is clutch when you push it down it just needs to be pressed hard and to the floor. Its not disengaging the clutch enough another words. What could if be? COuld it be fork? or is it a master or slave cylinder, I knew this truck needed work and thats why I bought it, I am 19 and a learning mechanic, Whatever the problem is I will fix it.

Ive been feeling this way since I was 11 and I am now 14. I'm female and I wasn't usually an aggressive or violent person. When I was 11 I was ually hared/aulted and sodomized. Advice on an injury sustained at work?

I severely sprained my ankle falling off of a ladder at work. I fell about 3.5 to 4 ft onto a concrete floor and tore a ligament. My istant manager initially would not let me leave. I ended up working for another hour and she tried to make me stay for another 45 minutes to an hour past that. It was only once my boyfriend showed up very angry and another co-worker talked to her that she let me go to the hospital. She actually accused me of faking my injury. She put her two weeks notice in a few days prior to this. It is possible that the strain put on my injury exacerbated the severity of it. Do I have grounds to sue both her and the company (which I will not name) and if so, should I pursue it? I'm currently in a cast with crutches, a prescription for vicodin, and they are rechecking my x-rays for a possible fracture.

My husband and I went to the interview. before it began the women told us that she had to deny us. She said the reason was because we did not file a new petition after they denied the first one, which they never denied it. They just needed some more evidence and they gave us a dead line to have all the doents back to them. But they never denied our I-130. She also told us we had to file our papers all over again. like we never filed before. This is very odd to me if they new that we had to file a I-130 all over why did they call us for the interview. If the old one was not valid anymore. It's like they called us just to deny us. She didn't even look at any of our doentation, but she did take my husband and I ID. She said that there wasn't a petitioner but yet she took my ID. We also called down to the immigration before our interview and they told us that we did not need to file a new 1-130. She told us we should be expecting something in the mail. If we have to file all the paper all over again this would make it our third attempt. Okay, I am only (well not even yet) 17 but I am having a hard time functioning in life. I got removed from my high school because I had poor attendance. I breed as a hobby. I would be really hesitant to put any species in with Indian ringnecks. They (mainly the hens) are super aggressive during breeding season. We have lost a couple males due to hens attacking them when the season starts. If you have an aviary setting and want different outcomes maybe you should think of one species ( like IRN's, lovies oe atiels) but do different mutations of them.

I've heard that naproxen (aleve) is a better pain killer for something like a surgical procedure (eg: HSG) and that you should take it about 90 minutes before the procedure, so that it's at full efficacy by the time you go in. I am going to use the recipe on the back of the corn meal package and make the shell. I will be using boneless skinless chicken seasoned and simmered to perfection, topped with lettuce tomatoes, onions, and homemade salsa (made with fresh chiles from the bush). Avocado would be nice too. I want to serve it with refried beans that were made fresh and taste sooo good. As well as Spanish Rice that I can taste already. i want to start a charity to take children from low income family's or with behavioural problems and autistic kids fishing. when i was growing up i was fortunate that i had a neighbour that went fishing and one day he offered to take me and mind the pun i was hooked from day 1,The thing is that my mum or dad could not afford to buy me any fishing tackle nor could they take me but my neighbour provided me with some old tackle and took me every other weekend.The point im making is that if it was not for the charitable nature of my neighbour i would of never of had the opportunity to try such a great p time at such an early impressionable age.I think that every child should be offered that opportunity and i want to offer as many as i can that chance to go fishing.i want my charity to provide the tackle and transport and the fishing knowledge to kids i want to go round youth clubs and learning centres and offer this service( which i would like to do for free) and get as many kids as i can on the bank of there local fisheries.
