Where should I get my left earlobe pierced?

I have my right earlobe pierced and I want my left one pierced. I hear that guns are usually okay for earlobes but I also hear that needles are better. I got my first piercing done by a gun when I was real young. It was me and my dad and it didnt get infected because i cleaned it with peroxide. So I'm wondering is it okay to get it done with a gun at a place like piercing pagoda
