Where can I find a certified Mini-Cooper mechanic,(other than the thieving dealerships!!!) near Hollister, CA?

My wife has a 2006 Mini CooperS with 75k miles. She took it in for "routine" service, and the dealership is telling her it needs about 5 different major components replaced, even though she has not experienced any problems! They said they'd be happy to fix it, for $7000+ though! I'm so angry, I could spit fire. I just want to find somebody (NOT a dealership!) to give us an honest opinion. Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Jose...anywhere that may have a knowledgeable and trustworthy technician.
