Has anyone had this problem with their transmission?

Last year I bought my 67 Volvo. It has BW35, 3-spd auto transmission. its RWD.Car slips like a NIGHTMARE! Its so annoying. Few weeks ago i had the fluid changed.. no difference. Friday I took it to a transmission shop, they told me I had a worn bearing and my troubles would be over for 190. Someone on my other question said, nothing in the driveshaft would cause any slipping in the transmission, they're right. The transmission slips in 1st gear, then slips when it shifts to 2nd gear. I stopped in the place today and they told me the bearing only quieted my transmission, and it is still out of control. They said a gears are gone, i dont remember which ones, and the clutch pack or whatever is worn, I THINK THATS WHAT HE SAID. Right now im so stressed and so pissed because this car is killing me. I dont want to sell it, its a hobby car but I want to have it good for the summer. Please dont tell me my fluid is low or i have a leak because thats not it.
