What will clear braces effect?

I am getting clear braces soon, and I am worried what it will do to my instrument playing. I have been playing the flute for 3 years, and it is what I want to do as a career. But, I also play piccolo and alto saxophone. Will the braces change the way I play? If it does... any tips to change it back to normal? Also, I have heard about stains. But, I don't drink coffee and I don't eat curry. I do brush my teeth every morning and every night. Is there anything else that could stain?
