Christians: I don't feel saved, and with all of the earthquakes, I'm terrified about not knowing Jesus?

Saved is when you truely believe that Jesus, the son of God, lived a sinless life on Earth and died on a cross so that our sins could be erased and we could have eternal life. When you know this in your heart, and speak it with your mouth you are a Christian. You don't become a Christian by going to church, or reading the Bible. It happens when you believe what I just said and focus your eyes on what is unseen, rather than what you can see. What I mean is we can't see God, nor can we audibly hear him speaking. But when we really, truely believe this, and live by this and His ways, we are Saved.
