Question about canceling an optional surgery?

when i was 18 i was sapose to go and get surgery on my shoulder.. I DID NOT and well today at the age of 20 im regreating it i was at work and re injured my shoulder and well now i might need surgery again i would so get the surgery and deal with it now because it will bite you in the but in a couple of years... trust me i know
