Are over the counter vitamins good til i go to my first appointment?

During my entire pregnancy I took over the counter One A Day Women's Prenatal Vitamin. You can buy them at Walmart for $14.96 for a one month supply. They offer both the regular prenatal vitamin and the DHA pill. Both are recommended for someone who is pregnant. When I had my doctors appointment I took in the box to show my doctor the amount of nutrients that were in both pills and she said they were just as good as the prescription ones.
